Blogwalking? Hmm … this one is definitely a term familiar among bloggers. That said, vocabulary is present when bloggers need socialization and interaction with others. He was also present when bloggers do not want absorbed in his own world; standing on top of the ivory tower of a virtual world that continues to work and generate creative thoughts, but never in contact with social issues and other virtual world communications realm.
However, it is only to avoid the stigma of “preoccupied with his own world” is that what a blogger needs blogwalking? Or, just simply want to chase back-links for traffic and chasing fame of a blog in order to smooth the way towards the throne of popularity for the benefit of an online business, for example?
I do not think there is a “sect” that requires even a blogger should be this or that. Doing blogwalking or not, it has entered the realm of the personal and right “prerogatives” that can not be intervened and influenced by the “school of” certain. After all, without blogwalking, a blogger also not going to hit “systemic impact” on the sustainability and existence of a blog as long as his account has not experienced a period of expired or was banned?
However, I see blogwalking has a range of meaningfulness and usefulness of the much broader. Blogwalking it can be a healthy way? How so? Yes, yes, yes, along with the dynamics of civilization that continues to move toward a global village, was not only a healthy size berkelindan with physical problems and the things invisible. Can reach the realm of healthy social, emotional, spiritual, and even cultural. Through blogwalking, we get the nutritional intake of the social, emotional, spiritual, and culturally it through the post-post blogger friend that we visit.
Socially, blogwalking can shorten the distance as well as expand the range of relationships and friendships. Blogs are not the sort of social networking facebook, twitter, friendster, myspace, netlog, or the like, which can thus encompass flexible friendships with people who have a “taste”. However, the blog actually has a social network that is much broader and open without having to go through the process and approve the invite. Blogs can be entered and commented upon anyone; even by people who are not a “taste” with us.
Emotionally, we can enrich and educate our emotions by reading the post-post reflective and free from patronizing. Indirectly, the writings of blogger friends like that could stimulate and inspire us to become a wise person, mature, and adults. Spiritually, we are also enlightened mind through the writings of blogger friends who raise spiritual issues, which are recognized or not, can suppress heart arrogance and savagery, and humbly willing to honestly admit that “in the sky there is heaven”. In fact, culturally, we can be a moderate figure and multicultural view by reading the post-cross-posting friend and cross-tribe. This means, your blog is like a virtual library that is able to build a culture of literacy and spontaneous whims through a multidimensional lens that is tolerant and democratic.
So, should blogwalking comments and impressions that go into our blog responded and addressed? Hmm … if that is another matter again. Every blogger has a different view. For some reason, did not have the time, for example, visitors often comment could not respond, or it could be deliberately letting the writing on his blog into a kind of discourse that freely commented upon anyone, without the need to respond back, because the writing on his blog has been considered to adequately represent the thinking- personal thoughts. A fuss if their comments and impressions blogwalking are responded or not, nor was there an initiative to make a visit back. Well, a model like this, it seems difficult to avoid the stigma of “preoccupied with his own world” is. Or, could already feel healthy social, emotional, spiritual, and cultural.
